About BALM Wellness

Empowering women to banish stress and step into their natural wellness with ease

I’m Jana Hungate, founder of BALM Wellness, a Women’s Holistic Health Practitioner specializing in stress reduction and self-care.

I help busy women release stress, tension, and pain so they can live joyfully and thrive each day.

With a focus on self-care, bodywork, massage therapy, and essential oils, I combine effective healing modalities to help you feel rejuvenated and balanced. I’ll guide you to feel more connected with your body and empowered with tools and knowledge to practice self-care anywhere.

I’ve learned first-hand the importance of listening to my own body and seeking out natural healing treatments before immediately reaching for a pill.

Growing up in the Czech Republic, my grandmother showed me how plants, natural herbs, and therapeutic remedies could be the best medicine. However, I did stray from that notion as I got older. I dealt with years of chronic conditions with too many medications to count. Fortunately, I realized there must be a better way. So, I reconnected with my intuition and sought out natural therapies for holistic healing.

Along my journey to better health, I decided to share this knowledge and sense of empowerment with others. As a trained educator, it was my nature to teach what I had learned so other women could benefit from and avoid physical and mental suffering.
